From Sept. 2 to Nov. 30, the third edition of the Admiral Poker League will be staged, which in past years has seen Antonio Bernaudo and Yuri Lombardo triumph, winners of the first and second Admiral-branded rankings, respectively.
The big news of the ranking that will accompany players during the months of September, October and November is the total prize pool of €50,000 divided between the €20,000 general ranking and the three monthly rankings of €10,000 each. In fact, from September 2 to September 30, one will compete for the September monthly ranking, from October 1 to October 31 for the October monthly ranking, and from November 1 to November 30, it will be the turn of the November monthly ranking. The scores from the 3 rankings will be added together to create an overall ranking whose total prize pool is €20,000.
As in previous editions, admiral points will be awarded based on time at the table, starting stack and type of table chosen. The Admiral Poker League rewards those who can accumulate the most Admiral Points during cash game sessions at the Admiral Poker Room. Admiral Points are accumulated through staying at the poker tables in play and are subject to three variables: the length of the session, the amount of buy-in, and the type of table you sit at (2/5, 5/10 and 10/20 Hold’em or 5/5, 10/10 and 20/20 PLO). Specifically: the longer you play the more points you accumulate, the higher the entry buy-in the higher the coefficient and the higher the blinds the more the multiplier increases. The awarding of these points is done directly at the Admiral Poker Room pit and is explained in the rules below. The leaderboard is updated weekly on this site.
