At the end of the eleven levels of play of Day2A of SCOP 100,000€ GTD there are 11 players left who have qualified for the Final Day. A total of 142 entries were registered in the first three flights. The 11 left, as well as those who will qualify on Saturday 3 June when Day2B will be played, will go into the Final Day already with a €500 mini-money. The chipleader leading the 11 left is Michele Zullo who bagged 1,705,000 chips.
At 4pm, the start time of Day2A, there were 50 qualified players seated at the tournament tables, including Claudio Rinaldi and Andrea Tucci. Some of the players who started the deepest at the start, such as Antonio Bernaudo and Ivan Losi failed to secure a place on the Final Day but will probably try again to climb the Swiss Poker Championship ladder next week in one of the last three available flights.
Tonight’s 11 qualifiers will have to report to the tables at the Admiral Poker Room on Sunday 4 June at 14:00 and will resume tournament play from level 10’000/20’000 ante. All players who failed to qualify for the Final Day or who wish to play in the final flights can register for Day1D, Day1E and Day1F scheduled for 31 May, 1 and 2 June respectively. Qualifiers from these three Day1s will play Day2B on Saturday 3 June.
