Poker tournaments are about to begin again at the Admiral Casino in Mendrisio! After several months of waiting, the Admiral Poker Room will finally once again have a tournament area to host some of the most important events in the international poker scene. The first will be The Night of Aces, which will be scheduled in the coming months. But tournaments won’t be long in coming in the new Admiral Poker Room, which is currently being set up. In fact, “daily” events will begin again every week, and the first one will take place on Thursday, May 1.

The room that was previously used as a tournament area now houses 28 state-of-the-art Novomatic slot machines. The new Admiral Poker Room will find a new location, more precisely it will be on the second floor, near the Casino entrance accessed from FoxTown. The tournament area will host 20 gaming tables, two of which are Poker Cash Game tables, and will be inaugurated on May 1 with a big “one-day” with a major guarantee that will mark the beginning of the official resumption of tournaments at Ticino’s most beloved Poker Room.

It kicks off on Thursday, May 1, at 3 p.m. with The First Night of Mendrisio, which features a guaranteed prize pool of as much as €30,000 against a buy-in of €200. The starting stack of 30,000 chips, 25-minute levels and late registration that closes at the end of the 12th level of play make this a highly attractive tournament. It is a one-day tournament that concludes by the end of the day’s play and will award a ticket to the Night of Aces Main Event for each of the 9 players who will advance to the Final Table.
