Lovers of four-card stud will gather on Sunday, May 26 at 3 p.m. at the Admiral Casino in Mendrisio for the third edition of the Swiss Championship of Pot Limit Omaha.
This is one of SCOP’s side events that every year sees important faces of the poker scene, especially variantists, lined up at the tables. In fact, we remember Ottaviano Capellini, Pasquale Vinci, the “master” Cesare Augusto Poggi and the one who won the first place trophy in all two editions of SCOPLO held in Mendrisio, namely Leonardo Bartolone.
The Swiss Championship of Pot Limit Omaha will be the prologue to SCOP 100,000 guaranteed euros, a few days before the Main Event that starts Wednesday, May 29 and ends Monday, June 3. SCOPLO’s format will be the traditional one with a €350 buy-in, 30,000 chip stack and 30-minute levels. Late registration will be after 10 levels of play and will be closed at the end of the dinner break. Two re-entries are available for each player. Registration is possible at the cashiers’ desk at the Admiral Casino in Mendrisio from 11 a.m. on May 26.
Who will win this new edition of SCOPLO and the prestigious trophy?
